Amy is Sophia's mother. Running her home based daycare for many years, Amy returned to the workforce in July 2021 as a Medical Office Admin. After learning of Sophia's diagnosis, Amy left her job to provide full time care for Sophia. Amy is now focused on bringing awareness to DIPG and raise money to fund research to bring an end to this horrible disease.

Ian is Sophia's father. Working for many years as a Senior Compliance Analyst, Ian promptly took leave from work upon learning of Sophia's diagnosis. Having two other daughters at home and in school meant life was a juggling act between appointments, treatments and daily duties. Ian is committed to raising money to fund research and bring awareness to DIPG.
